Terms of Use

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Welcome to StudyinEurope.eu. By using our website, services, or AI-powered tools, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These Terms of Use are designed to protect both you and our platform and are written in clear language for easy understanding.

1. Who Can Use Our Services

Our platform is designed for students, educational explorers, and accredited higher education institutions worldwide. Students must be at least 16 years old (or meet their local age of digital consent) to use Leonardo, our AI European Study Advisor, or create an account. Institutions registering on the platform must be legally incorporated entities and must be represented by an authorized employee or officer.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features — such as saving favorite study programs or purchasing memberships — you will need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate our terms or are used fraudulently.

3. Use of Leonardo, Our AI European Study Advisor

Our AI-powered advisor is designed to help you explore study options across Europe based on your preferences. You agree to use this tool respectfully and understand that its responses are generated by artificial intelligence and should be used for informational purposes only.

Leonardo does not provide legally binding advice, and we do not store chat history. We encourage users to verify final program details directly with institutions before making decisions.

4. Memberships, Payments, and Refunds

Some features — such as extended insights or full platform access — may require a paid membership. Payments are securely processed via Stripe. By purchasing a membership or credits, you agree to the applicable pricing and terms shown at checkout.

Refunds are not issued for digital services that are delivered immediately after purchase. This includes Leonardo Insights and membership access. By completing a payment, you consent to the immediate delivery of digital content and waive your right to a 14-day cancellation period under EU consumer law.

However, if you experience a technical problem (such as credits not being added to your account), please contact us within 7 days of purchase. We will investigate the issue and offer a solution or refund if appropriate.

To report a problem, contact us at support@studyineurope.eu with your account email and purchase details. [Read more about the refund policy]

5. Institution Accounts and Subscriptions

Higher education institutions ("institutions" or "HEIs") may register on StudyinEurope.eu to manage their program listings and receive qualified student inquiries. The following terms apply specifically to institution accounts.

5.1 Eligibility and Authorization

By registering an institution account, you confirm that:

  • You are duly authorized to act on behalf of the institution and to enter into legally binding agreements on its behalf.
  • The institution is a legitimate, accredited, or officially recognized higher education provider.
  • All information provided during registration is accurate and up to date.

We reserve the right to verify your institution's credentials and to decline or revoke registration at our sole discretion.

5.2 One Account Per Institution

Each institution may maintain only one active account on StudyinEurope.eu. Multiple registrations for the same institution are not permitted. Team members may be added under the same account in accordance with the features available on your subscription plan.

5.3 Subscription Plans and Billing

Institution access is available on a subscription basis. Subscription plans, features, and pricing are described at studyineurope.eu/for-institutions and at checkout. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • Billing cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Charges are processed automatically via Stripe using the payment method on file.
  • Upgrades: You may upgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard. The prorated difference for the remainder of the current billing cycle will be charged immediately to your payment method on file.
  • Downgrades and cancellations: You may downgrade or cancel at any time. Changes take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused time on the current plan.
  • Free (Verified) plan: Institutions on the free plan have access to a limited feature set as described on the pricing page. The free plan does not include access to student leads or paid features.

5.4 Student Lead Data

Paid subscription plans may include access to student inquiries ("leads") submitted through our "Request Information" forms. When you receive a lead, you become an independent data controller for that student's personal data. You agree to:

  • Use the student's data solely for the purpose of responding to their inquiry about the program they expressed interest in.
  • Process the data in compliance with all applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • Not use the data for unsolicited marketing, resale, or any purpose unrelated to the student's inquiry.
  • Maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the data.
  • Honor any data subject requests (access, deletion, etc.) made by students directly to your institution.

StudyinEurope.eu acts as an independent data controller for the collection and transmission of lead data and is not responsible for how receiving institutions process that data thereafter.

5.5 Accuracy of Listing Information

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and currency of all program and institution information published on StudyinEurope.eu. You agree to keep your listings up to date and to notify us promptly of any material changes to program details, tuition fees, entry requirements, or accreditation status.

6. Content License — Logos, Images, and Videos

By uploading or providing any content to StudyinEurope.eu — including but not limited to your institution's logo, photographs, videos, program descriptions, and other materials ("Institution Content") — you grant StudyinEurope.eu a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and adapt that content solely for the purpose of promoting your institution and programs on the StudyinEurope.eu platform and its associated marketing channels (including social media, newsletters, and partner publications).

This license remains in effect for as long as your institution's profile is active on the platform. Upon account termination or written request, we will remove your Institution Content from public-facing pages within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any technical or archival constraints.

By submitting Institution Content, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own the content or hold all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to grant the above license.
  • The content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or applicable laws.
  • Any individuals depicted in photographs or videos have provided appropriate consent for their image to be used in this context.

StudyinEurope.eu reserves the right to remove any Institution Content that violates these terms, infringes third-party rights, or is deemed inappropriate at our sole discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on StudyinEurope.eu — including text, design, logos, graphics, and code — is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reproduce, or distribute any part of our site without written permission.

8. Prohibited Behavior

When using our site, you agree not to:

  • Use the AI tool for spam, harassment, or irrelevant queries.
  • Misrepresent yourself, your institution, or your intentions.
  • Attempt to interfere with or compromise our services.
  • Use the platform for commercial scraping or unauthorized data collection.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent program or institution information.
  • Contact students who have submitted leads for purposes other than responding to their specific inquiry.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we work hard to keep our information accurate and our tools helpful, StudyinEurope.eu is not responsible for any decisions, misunderstandings, or losses resulting from using our services. All content is provided "as is" for educational guidance.

You agree to use the platform at your own discretion and verify any critical information directly with the relevant institutions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StudyinEurope.eu's total liability to any party shall not exceed the amount paid by that party to StudyinEurope.eu in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please read our full Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, store, and protect your data in compliance with the GDPR.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If the changes are significant, we will notify you via email or prominently on the site. For institution accounts, continued use of the platform after notice of updated terms constitutes acceptance. Your continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.

12. Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union. Any disputes or legal matters will be handled under the jurisdiction of Spain.
