Entry requires evidence of patient contact or care experience — voluntary or paid work in a care, mental health, or rehabilitation setting is strongly advised before applying. OT programs are practically oriented: interviews typically include discussion of why OT rather than physiotherapy, nursing, or social work, and clear articulation of OT's distinct philosophical basis (occupational focus, client-centered practice) is expected.
