Applicants must also satisfy one of three academic background pathways: a degree from an Italian program specifically in chemical sciences and technologies; a degree from a related Italian program, such as biotechnology, biological sciences, or industrial engineering, provided the applicant has completed at least 8 credits in mathematics, 6 in physics, 15 in chemistry, and 15 in related subjects such as agricultural, biological, or industrial-engineering sciences; or a foreign degree, such as in chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, or biology, with content equivalent to one of the above.
