There are usually two main intakes for study programs whose language of instruction is Hungarian:
- 15 February: for studies beginning in the fall semester
- 15 November: for studies beginning in the spring semester
For study programs and courses whose language of instruction is English, the application deadlines may vary largely. In general, international students are requested to submit their applications one semester in advance before the beginning of the course. In Hungary, the fall semester spans from the first fortnight of September to the end of January. The spring semester starts in the first fortnight of February and lasts until the end of June.
