If you apply for studies at a university or polytechnic through the joint application system, you will have to consider the application deadlines as seen below.

Study programs conducted in English
- 3 January - 15 February: for studies beginning in the fall semester 2011
You must submit your application before 15 February 2011 at 16:15 Finnish time (GMT+2). Please, note that the supporting documentation you are also requested to submit must arrive by 25 February 2011 at 16:15 at the latest.
On 19 July 2011, your university of applied sciences/polytechnic will inform you whether you have been admitted to the program you applied for. You will have to confirm you accept your study place by 2 August 2011 at 16:15 at the latest.
Application deadlines for studies at Universities in Finland
The application period begins around November 2010 and runs through February - April 2011 depending on the study program. Please, check at the institution website the specific deadline for the course of your choice.
