So you are thinking of studying abroad in Europe? That's one of the best decisions you can ever make. It will not only benefit your personal life, but it will also expand your career opportunities afterwards.
Out of my own experience, these are some of the benefits of studying abroad in Europe:
- You learn to listen rather than talking
- Your level of tolerance increases and realize things can be done in many different ways than you used to think
- You understand the importance of controlling your bugdet. Either you do that, or you'll be short of money to buy some food :-(
- You have to adapt to a new social and study environment. Although this is challenging, you'll soon discover you have hundreds of funny stories to tell your family and friends once you are back home
- You show you are a curious person. This is a good thing, since many companies value curiosity in candidates as a way to prove they are open to new ideas and challenges
- You get the chance to improve your language skills. Over 25 languages are spoken in Europe, some of them the most important languages in the world, like English, Spanish, French, German or Italian. Take the opportunity of studying abroad in Europe to improve your language skills!
And why do you think studying abroad in Europe is a worthwhile experience?
