Study in two or more European countries. It's now possible!

EU students have long enjoyed studying in several countries thanks to the Erasmus academic exchange program or just by arranging their studies independently as free movers.

With the introduction of the ECTS system and the Schengen Visa, non-EU students can also freely move within Europe as well as study courses in several institutions.

Sure it takes time and documents to transfer your courses among institutions, but all students in Europe, whether EU or non-EU students, can now study wherever they want. As you can read from the article "The ECTS system", you can study some courses in one institution and transfer your records to other institutions. European universities and colleges are very much used to recognizing courses and credits concerning studies in other European countries, so don't be afraid of transferring your credits to other institutions of your choice.

In the event you want to finnish your studies in the same institution you started at, but would also like to study for a while in another European country, take the chance to participate in an exchange semester or year. Once you are back to your home institution, you'll get your studies recognized.

Are you thinking of studying in various countries in Europe? I'll be looking forward to reading about your ideas and endeavor.
