Juan Carlos Cera was born in Valverde del Camino, a small town in Southern Spain, in 1979.
During his time at high school, he had the chance to improve his language skills in the United Kingdom. That was the first time he actually enjoyed being a student in another country. After his high school studies, he realized there was a whole wide world beyond the desk and decided to continue with his university studies in another European country, in Sweden.
In 2002, Juan Carlos was awarded a scholarship by the General Export Office of Sweden to participate in higher education studies in Sweden. Although switching educational system from Spain to Sweden was a complete challenge, Juan Carlos received much support from his family and friends. During his time in Sweden, Juan Carlos worked as a teacher and actively participated in the student organization AIESEC, where he received the Member of the Month April 2006 award. Juan Carlos graduated in Business-Information Technology Engineering in 2007 and moved to the beautiful city of Madrid, Spain, where he currently lives.
Juan Carlos is passionate about international studies and understands education is not only a gift of development, but also a necessary tool to improve a society and each individual in it.
